What Conrad Singapore Marina Bay is
Conrad Singapore Marina Bay stands at 2 Temasek Boulevard. The hotel’s main page, fetched 29 September 2026, describes it as a 31-floor hotel near Suntec Convention Centre, and lists nearby Marina Bay locations including the Esplanade, Merlion Park and the Singapore Flyer. The same main page states the hotel holds a 3,400-piece collection of Asian contemporary art. The hotel’s events page, fetched the same day, gives a stat tile of 512 guest rooms.
TTG Asia, a hospitality trade publication, reported on 17 April 2025 that the hotel, formerly Conrad Centennial Singapore, had been renamed Conrad Singapore Marina Bay on 15 April. This guide otherwise uses the hotel’s current official name throughout. Conrad Singapore Orchard, at 1 Cuscaden Road, is confirmed on Hilton’s own hotel page as a separate Conrad property in Singapore, with its own weddings page.
Spaces the hotel lists for weddings
The hotel’s weddings page, fetched 29 September 2026, names the Grand Ballroom and the Pavilion among its wedding settings, giving the Grand Ballroom’s capacity there as 408 guests and its size as 536 square metres. The hotel’s events page, fetched the same day, gives a fuller capacity chart for the Grand Ballroom: 408 guests banquet, 550 reception, 550 theatre and 300 School Room, with further figures for other layouts; ask the hotel which layout suits each part of your day. The same events page’s room card also gives the Grand Ballroom’s size as 536 square metres, matching the weddings page, while the Grand Ballroom row of the events page’s capacity chart gives 538 square metres; these two figures differ, so confirm the exact size with the hotel.
The events page separately states that the hotel offers 1,285 square metres of flexible event space, while a stat tile further down the same page gives the total event space as 745 square metres; these two total-space figures do not agree with each other, so ask the hotel which applies to your booking.
The hotel’s current Grand Ballroom Wedding Package brochure (pages 2–3, valid 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027) separately sets Package 1 at a minimum of 17 and a maximum of 34 tables of 10, and Package 2 at a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 16 tables of 10. These are package limits set by the brochure, not the room’s layout capacities given above; ask the hotel which package and layout apply to your wedding.
The Pavilion is described on the events page as glass-enclosed and overlooking the outdoor pool and the city. The same page’s capacity chart lists it at 237 square metres, with capacities of 140 guests banquet, 180 reception, 150 theatre and 108 School Room. The weddings page names the Pavilion as a wedding setting but does not give it a separate capacity figure there; ask the hotel for current numbers when you enquire.
An offsite civil solemnisation at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay
The hotel’s Grand Ballroom Wedding Package, valid 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 and fetched 29 September 2026, lists complimentary use of a salon room for one and a half hours on the day, for a solemnisation and/or tea ceremony, among its inclusions. This inclusion is tied to the Grand Ballroom Wedding Package; the brochure does not name which specific salon room is provided, so confirm which salon room is allocated to your booking. This inclusion does not establish that a solemnisation is available in the Grand Ballroom itself, the Pavilion, or under every booking; ask the hotel directly.
For a civil marriage, a solemnisation here would be an offsite ceremony requiring the venue’s agreement, a licensed solemniser and completion of ROM’s application, declaration and marriage-licence requirements. According to marriage.gov.sg, a solemniser can be booked to solemnise a marriage at your chosen venue on any day of the week, including a weekend or public holiday, as long as the solemnisation date falls within the legal time frame. Coordinate the proposed venue, date and time with the hotel and your licensed solemniser before finalising arrangements. ROM advises booking a solemniser three to six months ahead of the date; ROM notes solemnisers may not be able to commit to a booking earlier than this. Submit the marriage application no earlier than six months and at least 21 days before the solemnisation — the 21-day notice period begins once the application is submitted and paid — and arrange two witnesses who are above 21.
ROM’s own sites are separate from a hotel wedding: as at September 2026, the Registry of Marriages operates from The Esplanade Mall (a temporary site while the Canning Rise building is redeveloped), and the Ficus Room at Gardens by the Bay holds a maximum of 40 people including the couple and witnesses. For an offsite solemnisation at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, confirm the specific ceremony space with the hotel and arrange a licensed solemniser.
What the hotel states about photography, vendors and catering
The weddings page lists recommended wedding vendors among what it offers, alongside a dedicated wedding specialist and catering. The pages reviewed for this guide do not state whether a couple may bring their own photographer or videographer, or whether an outside vendor needs approval beforehand. Ask the events team directly.
For catering, the current Grand Ballroom Wedding Package brochure lists a choice of a six-course or eight-course Chinese menu for wedding lunches and dinners, prepared under Executive Chinese Chef Ku Keung of Golden Peony, along with a wedding display cake and use of audio-visual equipment for the venue. The brochure does not set out a policy on outside photographers or videographers either, so confirm this directly with the hotel’s wedding specialists.
Light and a wet-weather plan
The Grand Ballroom is reached from the lobby by a staircase and is described on the weddings page as having an LED wall and high ceilings. The pages reviewed do not describe natural daylight entering this room or any adjoining outdoor space.
The Pavilion, by contrast, is described on the events page as glass-enclosed, overlooking the hotel’s outdoor pool. For any outdoor activity as part of your day, ask whether an indoor alternative is available and what conditions apply.
What to ask before you book
Ask the events team which of the Grand Ballroom or the Pavilion suits your guest count and layout, which figure applies where the hotel’s own pages give two different numbers for the Grand Ballroom’s size, and two different numbers for the property’s total event space, whether outside photographers and vendors are permitted, and, for any outdoor portion of your day, ask whether an indoor alternative is available and what conditions apply.
