Registry of Marriages
Where is the Registry of Marriages now?
As of October 2026, the Registry of Marriages holds solemnisations at The Esplanade Mall, 8 Raffles Avenue #03-03/04, where it has operated since 14 April 2025. Its solemnisation room permits photo and video. Confirm your slot and any changes on marriage.gov.sg. Our coverage rates are on the pricing page.

ROM and solemnisation coverage is booked as a two-hour or three-hour block, sized around your slot time, the ceremony and the group photos afterwards. A videographer can be added for the solemnisation, and if you are also holding a banquet with us, the two days are planned together. Current rates are listed on our pricing page.

From abroad
Marrying in Singapore from overseas.
If one or both of you live outside Singapore, the Registry of Marriages sets the rules, not us. For a civil marriage where both parties are at least 21 and at least one is non-Muslim, the online application is accepted up to six months ahead and must be submitted at least 21 days before the solemnisation; couples where one or both are foreigners need additional documents, a current or former work permit holder marrying a citizen or permanent resident may need Ministry of Manpower approval first, and eligible couples can complete the pre-solemnisation declaration online or by video link. Different rules apply if either of you is under 21 or if you are both Muslim (Registry of Muslim Marriages). Muslim couples register with the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) rather than the Registry of Marriages (ROM); we cover the akad nikah (the solemnisation) and the bersanding (the seated ceremony on the dais) in the same way, planned around your kadi (the officiant) and your families.
Many couples in Singapore register first and hold the banquet later. We can cover the ROM as a standalone booking and return for the banquet on its own date; if you book both with us, the coverage is planned together so the two days feel like one story.

Before you book.
Can you photograph inside the Registry of Marriages?
Yes. The Registry permits photo and video-taking in its solemnisation room, which holds up to 20 people including the two of you and your witnesses. We plan the group photos for straight after the ceremony.
Do you cover Muslim solemnisations registered with ROMM?
Yes. We cover the akad nikah (the solemnisation) and the bersanding (the seated ceremony on the dais), working around your kadi (the officiant) and both families, and we plan the group photos with the mosque or venue's rules in mind.
How long is ROM coverage?
Two or three hours, sized around your slot time, the ceremony and the family photos. Tell us your slot and we will suggest which.
Can you cover ROM and the banquet on different dates?
Yes. They can be booked separately or together; together, we plan both as one story.
How much does ROM photography cost?

What should we wear for ROM photos?
Smart daywear or your wedding outfit, within the dress requirements of the Registry or your venue. Choose something comfortable to stand and walk in, and bring a change if you plan portraits afterwards.
Can our witnesses be in the photos?
Yes. Tell us who they are and we will plan for them in the ceremony coverage and in the group list afterwards.
