What Hilton Singapore Orchard is
Hilton Singapore Orchard stands at 333 Orchard Road. According to Roots.gov.sg, the National Heritage Board’s heritage portal, Lien Ying Chow established the Mandarin Hotel, which opened in 1971 with 700 rooms, on a site bought in 1964. As fetched on 29 September 2026, the Roots.gov.sg heritage-trail page still refers to the property by an earlier name, Mandarin Orchard Singapore, and does not mention its current Hilton branding.
A joint press release from OUE Limited and OUE Commercial REIT, dated 24 February 2022, announced the opening of Hilton Singapore Orchard that day as a rebranding of the former Mandarin Orchard Singapore, with 1,080 guestrooms and suites. The hotel’s own main property page, fetched 29 September 2026, shows current booking dates and live links to its weddings and events pages, indicating the hotel continues operating under the Hilton Singapore Orchard name.
Spaces the hotel lists for weddings
The hotel’s weddings page, fetched 29 September 2026, names the Grand Ballroom, Imperial Ballroom and The Manor as wedding venues. It gives the Grand Ballroom a wedding capacity of up to 800 guests, describing it as a pillarless room with crystal chandeliers, movable LED walls and lighting and sound technology. The hotel’s 2026/2027 wedding brochure, linked from the weddings page, gives the Grand Ballroom a package range of 350 to 800 guests, on Level 6 of the Orchard wing, with a floor area of 1,219 square metres; it also states the room can be divided into three sections, Ballroom I and Ballroom III at 330 guests each and Ballroom II at 140 guests, and caps a wedding package there at 80 tables. The hotel’s separate events page, also fetched 29 September 2026, gives the same room 1,212 square metres with a capacity of 1,000 guests, without stating a layout – close to but not identical to the brochure’s 1,219 square metres, so confirm the figure that applies to your booking.
The weddings page describes the Imperial Ballroom as an amphitheatre-style room on the 35th floor with multiple tiers, giving it a wedding capacity of up to 220 guests. The 2026/2027 wedding brochure gives the same room, on Level 35 of the Mandarin wing, a floor area of 480 square metres, describes it as a four-tiered amphitheatre-style room with a capacity of 220 guests, and caps a wedding package there at 22 tables. The hotel’s events page separately gives the room a floor area of 473 square metres and a capacity of 250 guests, without specifying a layout. The events page and the brochure give different figures for both the area (473 versus 480 square metres) and the capacity (250 versus 220) of what appears to be the same room; ask the hotel which configuration and figure applies to a wedding booking.
For smaller weddings, the 2026/2027 wedding brochure describes The Manor as seven interconnected spaces on Level 5 of the Orchard wing, with a floor area of 443 square metres and a package range of 120 to 250 guests. The hotel’s events page separately describes the same Level 5 space as Smart Oasis, with four interconnected rooms, a floor area of 1,150 square metres and a capacity of 250 guests. The brochure and the events page differ on the number of rooms (seven versus four) and the floor area (443 versus 1,150 square metres), though both give a capacity of up to 250 guests; ask the hotel which configuration applies to a wedding booking.
The 2026/2027 wedding brochure lists Estate in two distinct places, not as one figure: a private-celebrations experience with a capacity of up to 300 guests, described as suited to pre-wedding luncheons, celebratory dinners or solemnisations, and a separate Estate venue listing stating it seats up to 340 guests for a wedding. The hotel’s live dining page for Estate, fetched 29 September 2026, separately gives a general private-events capacity of between 30 and 160 guests, without a wedding-specific figure; ask the hotel which of these three applies to your configuration. The same brochure also lists Osteria Mozza, a Californian-Italian restaurant, with a maximum wedding capacity of 120 seated or 150 for a standing reception; the hotel’s live dining pages, checked 29 September 2026, do not list Osteria Mozza among its current restaurants, and its dedicated page returns a not-found error, so confirm directly with the hotel whether this venue remains available for a wedding.
A solemnisation at Hilton Singapore Orchard
The hotel’s weddings page, fetched 29 September 2026, advertises solemnisation venues as part of its wedding offering. The 2026/2027 wedding brochure adds a dedicated solemnisation package, offering a choice of venues without naming a specific room, one hour of venue usage and a minimum of 40 guests; ask the hotel which space and terms apply to your date.
For a civil marriage, a solemnisation at this hotel is an offsite ceremony under the rules published at marriage.gov.sg: it needs the hotel’s agreement, a licensed solemniser and completion of the Registry of Marriages’ application, declaration and marriage-licence steps. Coordinate the proposed venue, date and time with the hotel and your licensed solemniser before finalising arrangements. ROM advises approaching a solemniser three to six months ahead of the date. Licensed solemnisers are volunteers. Submit the marriage application no earlier than six months and at least 21 days before the solemnisation – the 21-day notice period counts from when the application is submitted and paid – and arrange two witnesses who are above 21.
ROM’s own sites are separate from a hotel wedding: the Registry of Marriages at The Esplanade Mall (a temporary location, as at September 2026, while the Canning Rise building is redeveloped) and the Ficus Room at Gardens by the Bay, which holds a maximum of 40 people including the couple and two witnesses. What the hotel states about photography and vendors

The weddings page describes a bridal suite as a 56-square-metre one-bedroom room. The 2026/2027 wedding brochure lists a one-night stay in this suite, with welcome amenities and Executive Lounge access, among the package inclusions it states for the Grand Ballroom, Imperial Ballroom and The Manor; confirm current terms with the hotel.

The hotel’s events page, fetched 29 September 2026, describes Level 5 as bringing together indoor and outdoor spaces for occasions beyond the ballroom, mentioning outdoor cocktail receptions by the pool and celebrations on an Upper Pool Deck with views over Orchard Road; the page does not describe either as a wedding venue specifically. The Grand Ballroom, Imperial Ballroom and The Manor are described on the pages reviewed as indoor function rooms.
